Retired tennis star Kim Clijsters has given birth to a baby girl.
The Belgian quit tennis back in May last year at the young age of just 23 citing tiredness from travel and constant rehabilitation from injuries.
"It's tiring to get out of bed and to use an hour just to warm up stiff muscles in the morning," Clijsters wrote at the time. "The constant injuries and continual rehabilitation it makes it all even more difficult to go on."
She married former US basketball player Bryan Lynch last year. And now the happy couple have a beautiful baby girl.
The parents and the baby are in great shape, spokesman Jeroen Jespers said.
