Gisela Dulko advanced to the second round at the $600,000 Bausch & Lomb Championships on Tuesday, after defeating Edina Gallovits in straight sets.
Gisela Dulko topped Romanian Edina Gallovits 7-5, 6-2 in an hour and 40 minutes at the Tier II stop. Gisela had a tough time in the first set, saving three set points after being down 4-5. Finally at 5-5, Gise got the break and served the set out.
In the 2nd set, Gisela raced to a 3-0 and 4-1 leads, where she took over to finish the match.
Gisela will face number 7 seed Agnieszka Radwanska in the second round on Wednesday.
