Serena outlasses Ashley

Ashley Harkleroad was soundly beaten in her second round match at the JPMorgan Chase Open yesterday by former US Open Champion Serena Williams.

The battle of the American's was won comprehensively by Serena, who despite a 6-3, 6-2 victory, was still critical of her own performance.

"I think it was all right but I was not as strong as I would like," Williams said. "I was just a little slow today, a little bit lazy."
